Review of Wicked Little Things (2006) by Aaron J — 11 Sep 2009
I thought this film, while slightly cliche, was rather inventive and had a interesting idea. I love Scout Taylor-Compton. She is always actually really good for her experience level. This film builds tension well, and just sits there.
There isn't really that much to be scared of here, because it doesn't push it that far. A bunch of creepy kids running after you is about as scary as it gets. But, while it wasn't necessarily scary it was indeed interesting and kept my attention.
Overall this is slightly better than a lot of the horror trash out there, but not amazing. The performances were good and the cinematography was pretty tasteful. I would probably recommend this to 'light' horror fans.
