Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Rory F — 28 Jun 2007
FUKCING great documentary about America and the stranglehold that the military-industrial congressional complex (Ike's original term, before he modified it to save face with his buddies in Congress) has on our foreign policy.
Every American that gives a sh*t needs to see this film. This film shows that democracy and capitalism often don't run parallel and sometimes we have to choose which one is more important to us. Since the cold war, we've consistently chosen the latter.
I don't know about you, but I like Ike.
