Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Justin C — 18 Aug 2007
A great documentary that flows well and speaks convincingly and passionately (through its interviewees) of the dangers of the U.S. military-industrial complex and the rising American empire (of economic and military supremacy, if not territorial control).
Everyone has to watch it, even if just to understand how the U.S. has enough support, somehow, to continue its much-hated wars (Iraq, anyone?). Most people ignore the fact that war is profitable for corporations, and this movie puts that fact at the forefront.
Stunning. Moving, even. I command you to see it.
