Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Andrew R — 16 May 2008
A must see movie for every American who considers themselves socially conscious or at all interested in knowing and understanding the repeating pattern of Vietnam War Part II that American finds itself in today.
This also reminds me about a documentary I saw a year or two ago on Frontline about KBR/Haliburton that is also very telling about who the real benefactors are of protracted overseas U.S. combat operations.
Although this is non-fiction documentary style film, if you enjoy this movie you might also enjoy the fictional "Lions for Lambs" which also explores some into the reasons why the American public is so complacent and apathetic now as opposed to during the Vietnam era.
And the answer is not just because of the draft.
