Review of Why We Fight (2005) by Paul W — 10 Jul 2008
Required viewing for every American and every non-American who likes to dig into American foreign policy. To the Americans it will enlighten on a number of the missteps made and risks run by American leadership.
.. and why they may need to be made again. To the non-American it should give depth to the complex realities and difficult responsibilities imposed upon the global power of the day. (whichever country that may be, France, UK or Ottoman Empire of centuries past, China or India of centuries future?).
