Review of Why Man Creates (1968) by Ken S — 13 Nov 2012
This somewhat experimental documentary about creativity by Saul Bass (best known for creating some movie posters and opening sequences for Hitchcock films) is an interesting and sometimes funny look at creativity and why people do it.
It isn't really an in depth documentary, but more of an experimental look at the subject. The animation that starts it off is wonderful...the rest is sort of hit or miss.
