Review of Why Him? (2016) by Lee H — 30 Dec 2016
This has funny parts for sure, but it's a bit up and down. The story is a reversal of the plot in 'Meet the Parents' where here the parents are coming to meet their daughters new wacky boyfriend.
Bryan Cranston is great as always and Franco is generally quite good, although he does veer into creepy at certain points. Most jokes work but there are a few that fall flat and the story is a little silly (as with most comedies).
Decent comedy but nothing special. 3 stars out of 5.
