This "part 2" spin-off the original movie was beyond what I expected. It was certainly funny at times but has a more serious undertone. Janet Jackson was amazing in this. Scary, but amazing. I definitely wouldn't recommend this movie unless you've seen the first one because the characters are a little complicated and the first movie sets the tone.
