I have so much admiration and respect for Tyler Perry and his work that I genuinely feel bad for being harshly critical on this movie. Compared to the first "Married" movie, this one is far more dark and serious which has to be expected. The first movie for me was simply outstanding and but the edge that this movie has, is that all the characters equally shine this time but special praise has to go to Janet Jackson who acts superbly in this film as well as Jill Scott who's character is pushed more.
The comic relief is well timed and delivered to perfection especially from Tasha Smith. I feel sad that I didn't enjoy this film as much as I would have liked especially since I waited so long for its release in UK cinemas only to find that the movie wasn't been shown in Scotland so I had the movie shipped priority from the US.
Not Tyler's best movie but still worth a watch amongst fans and I hope he brings back Madea soon!! HELLLERRROOOOO!!!
