Who wee, no one can abuse an African American woman like an African American man in a Tyler Perry movie! Look, I know I'm supposed to feel some horror while Malik Yoba is pouring vodka down Janet Jackson's throat, biting her lip, slapping her around and finally burning their only baby album.
But the truth is it's sooooooo over the top I end up lauging. I don't think that's what TP was going for in this sequel to the actually (rare) watchable "Why Did I Get Married?" But with a pedestrian script, acting that stops just short of African American's eyes bugging out and barely functional cinematography, this should have been a made-for-BET film rather than appearing in the theater.
