Starts out hokey. Becomes quite intense. Ends up a bit sappy. I'm not qualified to say if this represents black people accurately. But white people definitely don't act this way. Marriage? We don't believe in it any more.
From this angle, I think it served as a good reminder (both why and why not). Inconsistent. Some good performances... lost in the mess. Better than I expected, overall.
