Jill Scott is the best thing in this movie. You can really feel for her character. I couldn't believe it when she hit her abusive husband over the head with a champagyne bottle. I also liked the couple that had the STD.

Tasha Smith's character was SOOOO mean to her husband that it was funny. I think Jill and Tasha were the best actors in the movie. As much as I love Janet Jackson, her acting was blah. Just like Tyler Perry's was.

Their spouses in the movie were boring too. I wouldn't see this one again, but I will see the sequel...on cable like I saw this one. I like to see Tasha be mean again. And, I guess to see what happens to Jill Scott's character.

I have a feeling they may kill off her nice cop hubby. :( Then, that will open the door for her to take back her first husband, who has changed his abusive ways. Or, at least he will make her think he has.

Would be interesting if Perry did that anyway.
