Review of Who's That Knocking at My Door (1968) by Travis S — 09 Jul 2007
So I admit it, I have owned Scorsese's debut film for well over a year now, and never sat down to actually watch it. That was until the other day. And when I did, I will also admit, it was incredibly boring at first.
But after a while, I don't know how to explain what it did to me, but it grabbed me and by the end I didn't want the movie to stop. Scorsese's filmwork is unpolished, but not bad by no means.
It was totally amazing to see what the man I call my God was when he was around my age. Flawed, with signes of a future perfection glimmering through. Check it out, it's pretty interesting.
