Review of Who's That Knocking at My Door (1968) by Sakari L — 02 Jan 2008
What a curious film! Made on a shoe string budget over a period of several years while its director was still a film student, it resembles more an European new wave film than something we've come to expect from a Scorsese picture.
Even though more experimental in style, it already contains all the major themes of his later films - as its tagline says, "Mean Streets was just around the corner".
