Review of Who's That Knocking at My Door (1968) by Mitchell Y — 24 Sep 2007
A strong debut from Scrosese. Strong acting performances and Scorsese doesnt shoot for amazing shots or camera trickery. It's a simple story with a lot of subtext between the editing. Scorsese's still sorting out his themes, but the themes of grace and mortality are at play here, as well as his fascination with the human violent spirit.
