Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Michael R — 22 Nov 2007
Mike Nichols' directorial screen debut is intense and powerful. The story adapted from the play by Edward Albee is dark and engaging. Richard Burton is excellent as George and Elizabeth Taylor does a fine job at the consumately abrasive Martha.
An excellent picture.
