Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Wendy S — 05 Mar 2008
Taken from the screenplay by Edward Albee, these two actors capture the complex marital status of George and Martha in a funny and edgey way. The best acting I've seen in a film, ever!! It's terrible, sad, horrific, and all in a night's activities of entertaining a couple guests afterhours at their home.
This pulls a relationship to it's guts and then dissects it some more.
