Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Post G — 23 Mar 2008
Great script, and terrific acting. Suffers from length issues, which pull it down a couple of points. Characters are all repulsive, which makes empathy hard. This is not so much an issue, until the length of the play generates a certain amount of disinterest.
Still, there are some incredibly brilliant moments and lines in this, delivered perfectly by Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
