Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Tans D — 23 Feb 2009
Whoa! This is a rollercoaster. I've read the play, but never seen it, and this is just craziness. These people are nuts. Brilliant performances, especially from Taylor and Burton. Nichols does a great job of keeping things interesting, and changes locations from time to time (the play took place in only one or two rooms), while sticking absolutely true to the material.
Great movie. You might need just as much to drink as they do.
