Review of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966) by Carla M — 26 Sep 2012
My go-to film reference for everything that is right about 1960s cinema. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton's chemistry is astounding in this, and possibly a little too telling of how personal lives can shadow on-screen performances.
Rude, scathing, bitter, and marvelous are just a few words to describe what Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf is. George Segal and Sandy Dennis shouldn't be dismissed either. All four cast members are wonderful.
