4 - Zemeckis and Spielberg team up to bring to the screen what remains the best blend of live action and traditional animation to date. Hoskins plays a washed up detective who gets roped into trying to clear cartoon star Roger Rabbit's name, who has been accused of murder.
Evocatively set during the Golden Era of studio animation, there are countless cameos of very famous animated characters to enjoy. Movie magic is strong with this one.
