Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Kenneth B — 22 Jun 2012
Such great imagination is at work here and it still looks good nearly 25 years on. The combination of animation with what is essentially film noir is inspired and it is realised superbly. Hoskins is great as Eddie Valiant, in fact watching it back it surprised me just how good he is.
Roger Rabbit is a character who is more than worthy of sharing the screen with Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny and any given Disney or Warner Bros character that they could fit into the film.
