Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Alyssa B — 26 Nov 2012
A daring mix of animation and live-action, it mixes new (well, 1980s new) and old-school charm. Bob Hoskins and Christoher Lloyd are both fitting in their roles, and Kathleen Turner does a sultry impression for the ages as Jessica Rabbit.
This effort from Robert Zemeckis is one of the most impressive films to mix two styles to great effect.
