Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Adrian B — 17 Sep 2011
A fantastic adult animation, this satirical fest combines hand drawn animation and live acting, treating the hand drawn characters, or 'Toons' as another class of living citizen within the film, despite their wacky misadventures.
The Satircal humour and the long suffering of Bob Hoskins, who is the lead live actiing role in the film, gives this film a classic sheen. I really do think that this film would be perfect for the 3D, with many of the effects you coud image bursting out of the screen.
Cameos by your favourite disney and warner brother characters will tickle your childhood side and the main villian is freaky enough to give you a firm chill. More of an adults film then a kids, it is still funny enough for children to get and have a firm laugh over.
