Review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by Jacob M — 25 Oct 2013
Now, I'm not always the biggest fan of this kind of animation and live action meet thing, but man did Iove this one. This was a funny, interesting, original, and just plain cool movie that was entertaining as it was stylistic. These effects were probably amazing at the time too. The way they mesh the real world with this cartoon style, it's actually pretty cool. Also bob Hoskins does a great job acting at them. This must be pretty hard too, acting at nothing. There were a lot of scenes where he would have to talk to or do something to one of the cartoon characters and that must have been tough.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is hilarious for adults and the kids. It's an original idea and it has the good writing and directing to help make this pretty awesome vision. A good noir that I would call a classic.
