Review of Whiteout (2009) by Kj P — 30 Aug 2010
It's an OK thriller with decent action. The setting is unique and the acting is good, but it wasn't anything special. It's more like something you'd see on the Starz network or Showtime as a pilot for a series.
Kate Beckinsdale does a good job playing the protagonist, but is still nowhere near as memorable as Sigourney Weaver in Aliens or Elizaabeth Shue in Piranha 3D. I'm not really sure what else to say.
Overall, it's not a bad film, but I could understand why it flopped.
