Review of Whiteout (2009) by Julian T — 31 Dec 2011
Seriously lame. Poorly paced, and very boring. Even the major action scenes had me zoning out. The ending is one of the most anticlimactic conclusions of recent memory. Also, a pretty pathetic attempt at a 'twist ending', as it was definetly seen coming 4 miles away.
The acting is spotty. Beckinsale is mediocre at best, as is pretty much everyone else. I do have to single out Tom Skerritt as being quite good. There are a few positives to be found here. Mostly of the visual effects nature, and a halfway decent script.
But even with these few positives, its mediocre at best, and I can't say I'd really recommend it.
