Review of White Squall (1996) by Stuart P — 02 Oct 2007
This is one of my all-time favorites. This film captures a genre rarely done well, that being companionship. By the end of White Squall, you want to be a member of the school, you want to know what it's like to become life long friends with total strangers onboard a sailboat amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
Having gone to summer camp for a number of years, this movie brings back some of my fondest memories of brotherhood and fellowship. If you're looking for a heartwarming tale of unbridled coming of age drama, pick this one up, you won't be disappointed.
