Review of White Squall (1996) by Jose Jesus M — 11 Jul 2007
At first glance I thought well this must be a really crappy piece of crap. And reluctantly I watched it. SYNCHRONIZED in German.
However, two of my favourite male actors - they're both delicious - star in this movie as young skinny little boys, Ryan Philippe and Jeremy Sisto, who were the only reason why I eventually decided to see this film in the first place. Too bad though that that guy from that tv-series from the 1990's about the kids living at home alone portraits the main character here..
SURPRISINGLY it turned out to be quite a good movie, but then again, I've always been fascinated by water and the ocean..
I'll have to see it again sometime soon though, in English of course - so I can determine if it's worth a fiver or not.
