Review of White Noise (2005) by Abigail O — 07 Sep 2008
This was a good horror film in that the plot grabbed me all the way to the end. I thought the main character's little son was surplus to requirements as his existence had no relevance to the plot. I liked the way that Keaton was shown painstakingly listening to hours of white noise before getting anything "useful", I thought this was a good way to portray the tedium of such a hobby (if you can call listening to ghosts a hobby).
I liked the general message of the film, which is - the occult is bad, mmmmkay? Don't delve into it! Just don't. Don't even think about it.
