Review of White Noise (2005) by Christopher M — 04 Oct 2009
After the death of his wife a man becomes obsessed with Electric Voice Phenomenon (EVP) after he starts receiving messages from his wife. He uses these messages to bring comfort to others and save lives but not all the departed spirits are friendly as his EVP sessions start recording increasingly ominious sights and sounds.
One of the few deceint and genuianly creepy PG-13 horror flicks due to its atmosphere and a strong effort from Michael Keaton. Some of the ghost effects come of a little weak and well Ian McNeice is always a welcome sight, he and Deborah Kara Unger aren't given that much too do other then spot exposition. Still manages to be creepy after 2 viewings, can't really say the same about The 6th Sense. Side note isn't it about time we had another big Ghost movie to compare everything to? Ragging on The 6th Sense is getting tiresome.
