Review of White Men Can't Jump (1992) by Nilufer R — 13 Dec 2010
Director Ron Shelton (Bull Durham, Dark Blue) directed this hilarious high-flying inner city basketball comedy. White Men Cant Jump is funny as hell, packed with early 90's one liners and the always great "yo mama jokes". It's entertaining and it's also packed with some intense basketball competition and inner-city hustlin. A sports comedy that has stood the test of time, and that continues to amuse everytime it's watched.
Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes ignite a comedic firestorm together, they are simply sensational. With enough back and forth shit talkin to fill three movies. The unlikely pair team up to hustle their way around the dangerous streets of Los Angeles. White Men Cant Jump is complete slam dunk of a comedy.
