Review of White Men Can't Jump (1992) by Robots In Love — 07 May 2008
A hilarious example of early-ninties comedy. Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson really are at the top of their comedic game. However, it's a moive that has heart. You feel for these characters and especially for their faults.
Perhaps the best part of the film though (besides the exceptional basketball sequences) is the dialouge, especially the "cut downs" which are some of the best the nintes ever had to offer. All together it is a heart felt comedy about two men trying to over come their respective issues and never acutally making it any where in life.
If you've never seen it, or haven't seen it in a while go out and give it a chance.
