Quite an engrossing film. I'm not the type of person who enjoys being kept in the dark though. Throughout the whole film I was thinking "Which country is this supposed to be set in" and "Why is that kid helping the kids that just robbed him" and "Why don't they flee like they are supposed to".
Unfortunately not many of my questions were answered but I appreciate that this is a picture of Africa without being specific and it is surely all about the performance of Isabelle Huppert.
