Review of White House Down (2013) by Jetstar — 21 Jul 2013
I really wanted this movie to be a decent one and I also thought that this was going to be a bit dramatic at some parts, but boy was I wrong. White House Down starts Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx as the two main characters, they did a good job with their roles but they just had an awful chemistry.
The action sequences were good but their were some scenes that weren't necessary. Channing Tatum's daughter in the movie wasn't a good pick, especially with the crying scenes. The movie also lacks some identity, the tone becomes funny, then it becomes serious and serious but then it becomes funny.
The movie could' ve used some drama, the experience would've been a lot better. I didn't like White House Down but I didn't hate it, the movie was a fail because of the awful script and that's why I'm going to give White House Down a 5/10.
