"The chemistry is solid between the two lead actors, but White House Down fails to balance out the comedy with the aimless action. The special effects for this film also remains into question; the White House really looks like a set up made from white cardboard boxes and the day/night shots look washed out as if the whole movie was taken placed on the green screen (more than likely it was).

This is Roland Emmerich we are talking about, the guy that blows things up or creates giant catastrophic tsunamis', even for Roland Emmerich this is a cheap-made movie.".
