I have to agree, the movie was a little too long. However, White House Down was a quality movie. The film had non-stop action, held you on the edge of your seat, and had some great wisecracks to keep the mood light.

Some viewers said that the film had poor acting, but when compared to some other action movies, the acting was quite acceptable. One element holding this movie back from a higher rating was the script.

And while I agree that it's not Shakespeare, is that what the audience was hoping for when they bought their ticket? I know I wasn't. What I was hoping for was non stop thrill ride, which was exactly what was provided.
