"Dear Roland Emmerich, why don't you dare to be a little more "different" again?".

Like most of Emmerichs latest movies, this one was entertaining but so full of stereotypes and pathos that it lacked originality on almost every level. Still he managed to trigger some emotions and laughs and I still prefer his movies over the ones from, lets say, Michael Bay.... "White House Down" was solid and okay, but you've seen that so many times before that it is forgotten as soon as it is over...
