Review of White House Down (2013) by Dave H — 01 Feb 2014
Given that this was made by the same people that brought us the visually captivating '2012' and 'The Day After Tomorrow' the effects were always going to be amazing and they didn't disappoint. Despite a little bit of a lame plot I found the film wholly entertaining although I'm not sure how I felt about the comedy elements that were dropped in throughout - a little eager to appeal to the Die Hard audience perhaps?
Having said that I love a cheesy action movie and this fits the bill to a tee!
A must watch!
