Review of White Heat (1949) by Noel K — 26 Dec 2009
There have been other unforgettable criminal psychopaths in the history of film but none are as fun to watch as James Cagney's powerhouse legendary performance in this riveting masterpiece. The best scene perhaps is the one immortalized in the Madonna song.
I for one, couldn't help but laugh with Cagney, or was he crying? That's part of his genius performance, I could not tell.
