Review of White Heat (1949) by Morten Ø — 17 Oct 2010
This being my first James Cagney movie and only read quotes from the final scene of the movie, I didn't really know what to expect. However, this is probably one of the most cool badass movies I've ever witnessed. Not only is Cagney a mean hardcore motherfucker, but he also has a screwed oedipallic thing going on troughout the movie. And even though it stays within the investigation-genre or gangster-genre troughout the whole movie, it still changes it scenery and point of view a lot, which makes it so unbelivable intense.
A new favorite I really want to watch again very soon!
