Review of White Heat (1949) by Brian S — 25 May 2010
What other gangster films began earlier in the century, this one brings to bold and satisfying fruition. Cagney's acting is top-form, and he brings a wonderful villainy and psychosis to the character.
the level of violence and intensity also matches the film's tone brilliantly. overall a fantastic classic.
