Review of White Heat (1949) by Ric L — 22 Jan 2014
Cagney did not do anything but amazed me, he portrayed the life of a pretty convincing oedipal and disturbed Cody Jarret separating himself from any gangster I've seen before and, at the same time, making out of him a role model other mobster can follow.
There is so much of him in Stephen Graham (in the role of Capone) from Boardwalk Empire. Also: what a great cast working together! Edmond O'Brien does an incredible job.
