Review of White Dog (1982) by Jon R — 15 Oct 2009
The film is hard hitting and tragic, but the biggest tragedy of all is this excellent film's being locked away by Paramount. McNichol is decent, but the acting cheers go to Paul Winfield as Keys, the black trainer attempting to "reprogram" the racist dog.
Jarring, thought provoking, and horrifying, White Dog is proof of Sam Fuller's genius.
