Review of White Christmas (1954) by Lynne N — 12 Dec 2007
The singing of Rosemary Clooney & Bing Crosby, the amazing dancing of Vera-Ellen and the slapstick of the wonderful Danny Kaye (one of my personal favourites - he is, after all, Hans Christian Anderson).
What more could you ask for from a Christmas movie? This all-star cast is ably supported by the brilliant character actors Dean Jagger and Mary Wickes. The plot is a bit daft and sentimental - but it's a Christmas movie and therefore acceptable.
Highly enjoyable viewing!
