Review of White Christmas (1954) by James C — 20 Dec 2011
Watched this for the first time and rapidly lost interest in the story. There was very little that seemed to be going on - two US soldiers at the end of the war go on to stardom with their song and dance act, meet a pair of women who also sing & dance fall in love, etc, etc.
I can't help but think that it's the song rather than the content of the film itself that gets it all the 5* ratings you see in Xmas TV guides. Definitely won't be bothering with this Christmas Turkey of a festive flick again!
