Review of White Bird in a Blizzard (2014) by Patrick K — 19 Mar 2015
Perfection at last. While not the Araki film I will re-watch the most, nor his most fun, this is easily his best work to date. A magnum opus which is only ALMOST flawed by Shiloh Fernandez's somewhat stiff and lackluster performance.
Still, Gregg makes it work. Flawless execution of his signature style and aesthetic and a beautiful film to behold. Great soundtrack as well, but Araki fans won't be surprised. WOW.
