Review of Whisper of the Heart (1995) by Griffinroe — 12 Sep 2020
A beautiful movie that trades fantastical and wondrous settings for a suburban Tokyo. This film deals with the fear of failure and the lie of unworthiness in such an organic manner. While at times dialogue doesn’t always sound the best, it never took me out of the movie.
Objectively I give this move an 8 but subjectively I would give it a 10. I enjoyed this movie start to finish and desperately watched the time as I did not want it to end.
