A fun movie to watch, but very derivative. Borrows heavily from The Omen, "The Ransom of Red Chief" by O. Henry, The Shining and just about any "kidnapping" movie ever made. But mostly from The Omen, a movie it rapes with fervor.
I mean, when the guy runs out onto the frozen lake, guess what happens? Despite it's lack of originality, it was still a fun, mindless romp. The overhead shots from the balloon were nice as well, a nice touch.
