Review of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016) by Wade C — 07 Mar 2016
There are many reasons why I don't trust many film critics' opinions, and this movie is the prime example. Plain and simple, I loved it. It certainly has its flaws, but it's both entertaining and fascinating. This might be Tina Fey's best film role yet. Martin Freeman is a standout as a Scottish photographer, and ultimately - Fey's love interest. Many are criticizing the casting of Alfred Molina and the knockout Christopher Abbott as Afghans. Admittedly, both were great in their respective roles. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is not your average war movie, and I am so glad it isn't.
